  1. Good start, 8.8 lbs in one week, and you made the 350 goal. One comment on the pills, if the vitamin D is just due to a low number and not some physical ailment reducing uptake of vitamin D, then you may be able to skip it. You should be getting plenty of sunshine on your trip.


  2. My max weight was 320. I brought it down to the 200 pound level and sometimes below with the combination of changing my diet and upping my physicality. I now ride bike 100-200 miles a week. You can do this!
